In the autumn it was the “Walking with Bumblebees” in the Peak District, then recently designed the cover artwork for “Brora in Fifty Stories” for Clyne Heritage Society (Sutherland), and ensured another book cover design conformed to a printers’ spec for another self-publishing client based in Aberdeen. The new year should see the publication of an 80-page guide to The Battle of Littleferry historical trail, for Golspie Heritage Society. That’s in the last stages of development, but looking good.

Now in my fifth year of producing illustrations and information materials for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, I was plased to help the Bee the Change project for 2021. I designed the project logo, and produced the monthly sets of downloadable ‘menus’ of plant suggestions for encouraging bumblebees into our gardens.

One of my long-term Edinburgh clients, St Andrew’s & St George’s West, were wanting to herald the reopening of their popular café as pandemic restrictions slackened. I created this attractive illustration that could be upscaled easily for reproducion at A1 size.
